About the price, yes, it is quite high, but reasonable.
I accept that this is one hesitating point of solar cell power system, that is,
the initial investment is rather high. I hope in the future when people use it more,
and it becomes more popular the price may reduce
yet the quality is high as now or even higher.

This case in particular, the DC water pump adapted for the solar cell
has a rather high price in itself. And these ones do work well for the garden.

the answer is "no".
Because these pumps are "Direct Current", the mainline is "Alternating Current".
If one use it, the tool will be damaged.
